March 14, 2023, Paris —Horizon Trading Solutions (Horizon), a leading provider of electronic trading solutions and algorithmic technology, is proud to announce the launch of the Horizon & Beyond Foundation, a new initiative to support sustainable development goals. The aim of this organization is to raise greater awareness of issues brought on by climate change, and to support the evolution of a more sustainable industry.
Led by a team of experienced professionals with a proven track record of innovation, Horizon & Beyond will focus on educating and sensitizing all financial actors and the general public to the challenges of climate change, and the ways to face these moving forward. On top of this primary goal, the foundation will support the development of nonprofit initiatives related to financial technology, that demonstrate strong goals and potential when it comes to navigating the ecological transition and responding to climate risks.
The foundation will primarily target the financial industry, starting with Horizon’s existing ecosystem: customers, suppliers, partners, regulators, universities, staff, and families. Specialized training will form the basis of the program, using leading pedagogical resources, and supporting members of the Horizon Software team to become trainers.
